POST WORKOUT GOLD

What is your go to post workout meal?

Lately I’ve been enjoying a Greek Yogurt concoction that is great for recovering from tough workouts.

I call it “Post Workout Gold”, it’s that good!

Here’s what you’ll need…

-1 cup plain non-fat Greek Yogurt (I use Chobani or Fage)

-1 tbsp of nut butter (My favorite right now is Justin’s Vanilla Almond butter)

-1 tbsp honey

-1 banana (berries work really well too)

Add everything into a bowl and mix. Smile and enjoy!

Pro-tip #1: If you want to add some more flavor and calories, put in some 85% cocoa dark chocolate.

Pro-tip #2: Taking out the fruit or honey will cut the the carbs down if you’re watching them.

Approximate Calories: 390 (not including dark chocolate)

Protein: 24g

Carbohydrates: 60g

Fat: 6g
